BURNT BRIDGES is a supernatural thriller that follows two loving sisters who are torn apart by a strange and haunting force. It’s their first year together at the Everett Institute of Modern Advancement (EIMA), a prestigious university with an odd past. Their bond is tested when Viola, the oldest and more ambitious of the two, finds herself more invested in uncovering the secrets their campus holds than in maintaining their relationship. Spirits, a secret society, and sacrifices to a God that may or may not be real; It quickly becomes clear that there’s more than just their bickering keeping the two apart.

VIOLA ABREU: Viola is a young college student who is tired of fading in the background. She years for a life of excess and comfort, one where she feels appreciated and wanted, yet here she is: stuck eating at her campus cafeteria alone. She’s ambitious, hard-working, and incredibly disciplined but can also be rather fussy and selfish.
ASHTON (TONNIE) ABREU: Viola’s younger sister. She’s an upbeat social butterfly and definitely a huge partyer. Adventurous, bold, and confident; She’s definitely the gal you’d call for a fun time. Although her relationship with Viola has become strained since she left for college, Tonnie still loves her very much and hopes that by joining her at the Everett Institute their friendship will return to what it once was.
ENZO ALONSO: A mysterious student Viola meets while attending the Everett Institute. He is usually seen around the classroom the Philosophy club meets in and has an impressive amount of knowledge regarding EIMA’s past. Despite his odd demeanor, he quickly becomes one of Viola’s only friends. He is laid-back, sarcastic, and definitely hiding something.
ROMULUS (BONO) BONEVENTI: A friend of Tonnie’s. While he does not attend EIMA himself, Bono is regularly seen volunteering on campus and is popular for the big college parties he hosts. After meeting Viola, Bono finds himself smitten by her but his attempts to befriend her fall flat as she’s not a fan of his sleazy reputation.
PROFESSOR ALVA MELROSE: Professor of History and sponsor of the Everett Institute’s own philosophy club. She’s spent the majority of her life both studying and teaching at EIMA; Incredibly intelligent, witty, yet also quite reserved; Professor Melrose is not the most popular of the institute’s professors but becomes a reluctant mentor figure for Viola in her quest to uncover the secrets EIMA has stored within it’s walls.
